“Population, when unchecked, increases in a geometrical ratio”.

Booming population in the country has become a worrying topic. Over this, UNESCO recognized World Population Day was celebrated at The Oxford School, Kollam on 11th July 2019 with Special Assembly and Painting competition. During the Special Assembly, Head Boy of the school gave brief information on the World Population Day. Students of class VIII A through a mime ignited the awareness about the consequences of the rising population. As Aristotle believed, to bring any change we must train young minds. It was this concept at work we intend to get children thinking about the problems facing the earth and our immediate environment. Children took up this challenge and did their best to express their ideas.
