 The Investiture Ceremony for the academic session 2019-2020 was held with great pomp and dignity at The Oxford School, Kollam on 15 August 2019. It was yet again a special occasion where the young talents of the school were bestowed with the responsibility of leading their school with commitment, confidence and competence.   The event was presided over by the Chief Guest Mr. Pratheep Kumar, ACP, Kollam, Manager of TOSK Mr. Shanavas A, the Principal Dr. Sajid Ali, Vice Principal Mrs. Mini K Pillai and HOS Mrs. Usha Roy & Mrs. Ameena Nazir.

 The formal ceremony commenced with the newly appointed Student council members marched in with heads held high on this great occasion of investiture ceremony. The Chief Guest and the Vice Principal adorned the newly appointed Council Members with badge and the Principal administered the oath to the council members with a promise that they would discharge their duties with integrity, faith and excellence. It was simultaneously a moment of pride and humbleness of authority with accountability and above all service.

Speaking on the occasion Chief Guest Mr. Pratheep Kumar congratulated the Student Council members and highlighted on the implications of being a leader and its tall order to shoulder responsibilities, values, and ethics for being global citizens. He reiterated on the value of time, to interface responsibilities, work as a team and walk together. Vice Principal Mrs. Mini K Pillai proposed the Vote of thanks.

The ceremony ended with National Anthem.
