The Oxford School, Kollam observed the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking on 26th June 2018 in a befitting manner by organizing various awareness generation activities. Excise circle inspector Mr.Jayaraj.P.K was the Chief Guest on the occasion. Our Vice Principal Mrs. Mini.K.Pillai welcomed the chief guest and our Principal Dr. Sajid Ali inspired young minds to inculcate good values. In his energetic class Mr. Jayaraj .P.K made students properly aware of the dangers involved in drug abuse and its harmful effects on life through case studies. He inaugurated the mass signature collection “Say No to Drugs”. Students took pledge against drug abuse. There was a poster making competition on the theme “Let’s Develop With Out Drugs” and students from different classes made posters depicting the adverse effects of drugs. Best three were awarded by our Chief Guest.
