Chandrayaan 2 launch: ISRO creates history!

The live launch of India’s second lunar mission Chandrayaan-2 from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre (SDSC) SHAR, Sriharikota was witnessed by the students of The Oxford School, Kollam along with the teachers via live streaming services at 2:43 p.m, July 22, 2019. The Physics faculty of the school explained the mission and its importance to the students which had given a greater understanding. Chandrayaan 2 is the first Indian mission to explore the mysterious terrain of Moon with indigenous space-technology. After the mission lands successfully, India will be the fourth country ever to soft-land on the lunar surface. The Historic launch of Chandrayaan-2 was a proud moment for all Indians.
